Eating Concerns
Individualized support for eating disorders, body-image concerns, and the emotions and behaviors surrounding food.
Anxiety & Depression
Understand the cycles behind excessive worry, avoidance, disconnection, and low mood. Then develop useful strategies for changing them.
Parenting & Co-parenting
Support for parenting children at different ages and developmental stages. Support for co-parents going through a separation or divorce.
Life Transitions & Aging
Support for grief, retirement, health-related stress, changing family roles, identity, and the emotional realities of aging.
I’m Dr. Jennifer Weniger, an experienced therapist, educator, and author who has spent more than two decades helping adults navigate difficult seasons and create meaningful, lasting change.
My approach is warm, direct, and highly practical. I draw heavily from cognitive behavioral therapy, helping clients understand how their thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and circumstances influence one another. Therapy should offer more than insight, it should provide useful tools that can make a difference in everyday life.
I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, eating disorders, autism and major life transitions. Every client brings a different history, perspective, and set of needs, so treatment is always collaborative and individualized.
My broader professional background includes two doctoral degrees, university teaching, clinical leadership, professional writing, and extensive direct client care. I am also the author of Becoming a Devoted Parent.
Above all, I believe there is tremendous power in holding onto hope and recognizing that a better future remains possible.
“I had an amazing experience with Dr. Jennifer Weniger. She was incredibly supportive and helped me navigate through a difficult phase in my life. I felt heard, validated, and empowered after each session. I’m grateful for their guidance.
